Obviously this has some significance when it comes to the study of Omagh, but is also a great example of conflict in our society. It would be useful to start to study to understand the background to the violence in Northern Ireland in particular the time of the 'Troubles'. When looking at this example try to see if you can highlight the factors that lead to this conflict, what occured during this, and what were the consequences.
